Primarily designing with Ceramics, Robyn has also had experience in product design and is now combining both aspects of her knowledge in her current project. This project is focusing on capturing moisture from the air in arid countries through a ceramic medium for irrigation purposes, inspired by biomimicry.

The Current irrigation project has been recently showcased at the Central Saint Martins Degree Show Two as well as The New Designers Exhibition. Robyn was also awarded the Potclays Graduate award for the development of her hydrophobic ceramic glaze.

Having studied 3D design since the age of 14 and training at Central Saint Martins for 3 years as a Ceramic designer, Robyn graduated this year with an Upper Second Class Honours Degree.

Robyn is a materials driven designer who is fascinated in the versatility that ceramics can have and what innovations within the material can be explored, to create new and exciting products.
